OffsiteMate’s AI receptionist answers the phone for tradies in Nowra, Bomaderry and around the Shoalhaven when they’re on the tools. It says it’s your assistant, gets the job details, books routine jobs at times you’re free and texts you emergencies straight away.

The Kangaroo Valley Show holiday covers the locality of Kangaroo Valley inside the City of Shoalhaven, from 9am to 5pm. It isn’t a public holiday in Nowra or Bomaderry, so a customer in the valley may be off while you’re working.
Jemena calls itself the largest gas distributor in NSW. For Nowra, the NSW Government names someone else: Evoenergy, formerly ActewAGL, the gas network for Queanbeyan, Bungendore and Nowra. Evoenergy says it owns and operates a Nowra gas network as well as its ACT one.
Gas faults and emergencies in Nowra go to Evoenergy on 13 19 09. Jemena still turns up in the story: Evoenergy names it as the contracted service provider for its gas network, and the faults number has the same digits as Jemena’s.

Water and sewer. It’s the council’s water business and Nowra’s water utility. The same number takes enquiries from 8:30am to 4:30pm, and after hours it goes to a contact centre for emergencies.
