Wages are the minimum under the Clerks Private Sector Award 2020 for a Level 2 employee, the level whose duties include answering enquiries at reception, from 1 July 2026, plus the 12% super guarantee (ato.gov.au). Checked 12 October 2026. A real hire costs more once leave, payroll costs and a desk are added.
If you need someone in the office doing invoices, chasing payments and greeting customers at the counter, hire a person. Software can’t do that.
