AI receptionist for cleaners

It picks up when you’re mid-clean, says it’s your assistant and gets the details. End of lease cleans get booked. Regular cleans get a time.

Every bond clean has a deadline

Someone’s moving out on Friday and needs a bond clean. Someone else wants a fortnightly clean. They ring while you’re halfway through an oven.

If nobody answers, they ring the next cleaner on Google. People moving out don’t wait around.

The assistant answers, asks what kind of clean, how big the place is and when, and books it in.

Lovely voicemail message. Shame nobody listens to it.

What missed calls cost a cleaner

Put in your own numbers. It works out what missed calls are worth to you a month and a year.

Filled in with our estimate: about 5 calls a working day with nearly 1 in 5 missed (figures published by Chime Labs and AIIMS Group), over about 22 working days. Change it to yours.

Filled in with a typical job: the middle of the typical prices in What’s The Damage’s house cleaning cost guide (October 2026), rounded. Change it to yours.

Filled in with our estimate: 7 in 10 calls are new customers (AIIMS Group, 207,000 calls), and you’d win about 3 in 4 of those (Tradify’s quote figures), so about 1 in 2 calls is a job. Change it to yours.

What missed calls could cost you

About A$2,500

a month, or about A$30,000 a year

What OffsiteMate costs

for a sole trader, minutes and texts included. The missed calls cost about 8 times that.

Your numbers stay on your screen. We don’t save them.

Three ways it answers for you

All three come in Core. Same assistant, same knowledge of your business, whether they ring, miss you or text.

The AI receptionist

  • Picks up when you can’t, day or night
  • Says it’s your assistant, never pretends to be you
  • Asks what kind of clean, how many bedrooms and the suburb
  • Books cleans and quotes at times you’re free
  • Texts you the details of every booking
Your caller hears (example)You’ve reached Mel’s Cleaning. I’m Mel’s assistant. What can I help with?

Missed-call text back

  • For when you’d rather it rings you first
  • Miss the call and they get a text from your business name
  • It asks what they need and which suburb
  • Their reply goes straight to the text assistant
Your customer gets (example)Hi, it’s Mel’s Cleaning. Sorry we missed you, we’re on a job. What kind of clean do you need, and what suburb are you in?

The text assistant

  • Answers texts and the chat on your website
  • Knows your services and where you work
  • Books the job from the chat
  • Takes their details if they’d rather talk to you
Website chat (example)Yes, we do end of lease cleans. How many bedrooms, and when do you need it done?

What cleaners use it for

  • Answering calls on the tools

It picks up when you can’t, as your assistant, and gets the job details.

  • After-hours calls

Emergencies come to you. The rest get booked for the morning.

  • Booking jobs

Only at times you’re free, with a confirmation and a reminder.

  • Texts and website chat

The same assistant answers texts and the chat on your website.

  • Following up quote requests

Two follow-ups if they go quiet, then it stops.

  • Getting more Google reviews

Happy customers get your review link after the job.

What it asks first

Cleaning doesn’t come with many emergencies, so nothing here wakes you up. It asks what kind of clean, then books it.

“Is it a regular clean, a one-off, or are you moving out?”

What they can pick

  • Regular clean
  • One-off or spring clean
  • Moving out (end of lease)
  • Carpets, rugs or couches
  • Windows or outside
  • Something else

You get the details by text, and the clean lands in your diary.

What your customers ask it

It answers from what you’ve told us: your services, your area, your prices. If it doesn’t know, it says so and takes their details.

Do you guarantee I’ll get my bond back?

It tells them what you’ve told us to say about bond cleans.

Do I need to be home?

It gives your answer.

Are your cleaners police checked?

It gives your answer, word for word.

Can I use my NDIS plan?

It checks your services. If you do NDIS cleaning, it says so.

Examples. Yours use your own prices, services and suburbs.

What your customer sees

Texts come from your business name, in plain words. No jokes, no robot voice. The emergency comes to you.

Missed call · 10:23am (example)

Thanks. I’m Mel’s assistant. Is it a regular clean or a one-off, like moving out? I’ll get you a price and a time.

What you get when one’s booked (example)

New booking: end of lease clean, 3 bedrooms in Springvale, Friday 9am.

Hi, we’re the humans behind the robot.

The robot answers your phone. We set it up, keep an eye on it, and we’re the ones you ring when you want a human.

We don’t sell leads, and you won’t have to learn any software. If you want something changed, text us. We’ll only ring you when there’s a reason to.

Cleaners ask us

Is OffsiteMate an answering service for cleaners?

Sort of. An answering service takes a message for you to deal with later. Ours answers as your assistant, gets the job details, books the routine work and texts you the urgent ones.

Can it give a price?

If you give us your prices, it gives them. If you’d rather price each one yourself, it takes the details and books a time.

What cleaning enquiries can it handle?

Regular house cleaning, spring and deep cleans, end of lease and bond cleans, NDIS cleaning, ovens, builders cleans, offices, carpets, rugs and upholstery, tiles and grout, windows, pressure cleaning, house washing and gutters. It answers from your services and prices, and books the clean or a time to quote.

Will my customers know it’s not me?

Yes. It tells them straight up it’s your assistant. If they want you, it takes their number and you ring them back.

Does it answer after hours and on weekends?

Yes, any hour. During the day you can have it ring you first, so it only picks up when you don’t.

Does it book into ServiceM8 or Fergus?

Yes. It only offers times you’re free in ServiceM8 or Fergus, and the job lands there by itself.

Do I have to learn any software?

No. We set it up and keep it running. Job details come to you by text, and bookings show up in an app on your phone.

What if it says something wrong?

Text us. We read what it says to your customers, and we fix it.

What does it cost a cleaner on their own?

A$299 a month and A$299 to set up, with 100 minutes and 150 texts included. Over that it’s A$0.49 a minute and A$0.25 a text. Month to month.

This phone is answered.

By a human. Ring us and we’ll set it up for your cleaning business.
