What your assistant has been told

It answers from what you’ve told us: your services, your area, your prices and your hours. If it doesn’t know something, it says so and takes their details.

What we tell it

  • Your trade and the jobs you do
  • The suburbs you cover
  • Your hours, and the days you’re off
  • The prices you’re happy for it to give, word for word
  • Any call-out fee you charge
  • What counts as an emergency for you
  • How long a job takes, and the gap between jobs

Where it comes from

We have a chat with you before it goes live, by phone or text, whichever’s easier. We set it up from that, then test it with you.

It only gives the prices you’ve told us it can give. For anything else, it books a time for you to quote.

When it doesn’t know

It says so, takes their details, and you ring them back. Tell us the answer, and it knows it next time.

It isn’t an emergency service. If someone’s in danger, it tells them to hang up and ring triple zero.

What it won’t do

  • Make up a price you haven’t given us
  • Pretend to be you, or a person
  • Book a job outside your hours
  • Handle a real emergency itself. If someone’s in danger, it tells them to ring triple zero

Keeping it up to date

The first few weeks are when you’ll spot the gaps. Read the conversations in the app, and text us anything it got wrong or didn’t know.

After that, text us when something changes: new prices, a new service, a suburb you’ve stopped driving to.

Fair questions about what it knows

What if my services change?

Text us the change. We update it, test it and let you know.

How do I update it?

Text us. We change it, test it and let you know.

Will it make up a price?

No. It only gives the prices you’ve told us it can give.

My prices went up.

Text us the new ones.
